Healthcare technology platform helps PNC Healthcare earn banking industry recognition

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – April 27, 2020 – Madaket Health, a cloud-based healthcare platform that streamlines and simplifies administrative data exchange between payers and providers, announced today that its collaboration with PNC Healthcare earned PNC the Celent Model Bank 2020 Award for Commercial Payments. This banking industry honor demonstrates the positive impact of Madaket’s initiative with PNC Healthcare to help automate its enrollment processes for electronic funds transfer (EFT) and electronic remittance advice (ERA).

PNC Healthcare offers robust treasury management and clearinghouse services, including electronic reimbursement enrollments, to healthcare provider and payer clients. Implementing Madaket’s flagship product, EDI Enrollment, Madaket and PNC collaborated to build an API solution with key features, including an all-payer form library, auto-population of data, e-signatures and payer status updates. Additionally, PNC leveraged Madaket’s API capabilities to help enable its healthcare provider clients to complete enrollment tasks digitally through a self-service portal.

As a result of the collaboration with Madaket, PNC Healthcare has demonstrated marked improvement for its healthcare business, including:

  • 75% increase in monthly enrollment volume
  • 83% decrease in form preparation time
  • 75% decrease in form rejection rate
  • Reallocation of five FTEs
  • Increase from 0% to 60% of enrollments completed with no manual tasks
