Health Data Management has highlighted the Madaket platform’s ability to help payers and providers reduce the administrative burden and waste associated with EDI enrollment and credentialing process in a new article.

The article reviews the recent Journal of the American Medical Association study that examines the effects of administrative complexity on overall healthcare waste in the United States.

“The study … found that administrative complexity is the leading cause of the estimated nearly $760 billion to $935 billion in total waste annually,” the article reads.

The article goes on to highlight Madaket’s ability to streamline the many tasks involved in provider data management, with quotes from CEO and Co-founder Jim Dougherty and CIO and Co-founder Ted Achtem.

“Payers and providers using the same data for countless transactions should only have to share that data once,” Achtem says in the article. “That’s what the platform provides. It provides the flexibility to store complex, hierarchical provider data and transform it to meet the needs of payers, providers, and intermediaries alike.”
