The team that serves together works better together
To the staid world of healthcare, Madaket – a team led by MIT nerds working in an open style office in Harvard Square – brings something new. And it’s not just fresh ways of doing the same old provider-payer enrollments (e.g. ERA, EFT and EDI for claims services). While we’re building better, faster lines of communication between healthcare providers and payers, we’re also having fun and doing good.
People who have corresponded with Madaket CEO and co-founder Jim Dougherty might have seen this line in his email signature:

Service is an important part of Madaket culture. Last week, the Madaket team served over 170 meals during the lunchtime shift at Rosie’s Place. Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States with the mission to “provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives.”
From setting up dining tables and chopping vegetables, to ladling soup and carrying trays, Madaket-ers took time out of building SaaS solutions for healthcare providers to help women in the great Boston community. We believe that,
“Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others.”
We also believe that the team that gives back together, laughs together, and sweats together works better together. Here’s to more Madaket service opportunities in the future!
